Pharmacological effect: Amaryl is a drug for diabetic treatment. This product controls the sugar levels in the blood. Amaryl contains a substance named glimepiride. Amaryl takes part of the group of medicines known as sulfonylureas.

Usage: Amaryl is used in treatment of diabetes type-2 concurrently with diets and exercises. It is also used with insulin medication if it’s needed. This medicine prevents kidney illness, sight loss, nerve troubles, loss of appendages and sexual problems. It also decreases the risk of heart attacks.

Aftereffect: During the therapy with Amaryl you may encounter undesirable effects. More common are vomiting and stomach sickness. Call the doctor or ask the pharmacist if you have the following reactions: yellow skin or eyes, dull urine, weakness, bleeding, infections, fever, mood changes, weight gain and symptoms of hypoglycemia.

How to administer (optionally): Take one tablet of Amaryl with breakfast. Use it regularly at same time. The dosage should be prescribed by the doctor. The maximum daily dosage is 8mg.
