Pharmacological effect: Hytrin contains a medicine named Terazosin. Terazosin takes part of a group of antihypertensive. This medication relaxes the arteries and veins. It helps the blood to flow easier.

Usage: Hytrin is used in therapy of hypertension. It also is used by men with prostatic hyperplasia. The medication eases the muscles of prostate and eases the urination.

Aftereffect: Call the doctor and stop administration of Hytrin if you feel the following adverse effects: giddiness, weight gain, fainting, chest ache, swelling, troubled breathing, irregular heartbeat and lightheadedness.

How to administer (optionally): Take one tablet per day. Swallow it with water at bedtime. The doctor may increase your dose. The maximum dosage is 20mg per day.
